Spanish Point Reefs Surf Cam
This page shows a sample video from the Spanish Point Reefs surf cam, giving a look at one of County Clare’s classic reef setups on the Wild Atlantic Way.
Spanish Point has a serious surf history, with local surfing roots going back decades and a coastline that can deliver proper Atlantic quality when the swell, wind and tide line up. The reefs here are a different setup to the main beach — more powerful, more technical and best suited to surfers with experience in reef conditions.
The live Spanish Point Reefs webcam is available to ONIT Surf PRO members. Join ONIT Surf PRO to view this camera live and check the swell, wind, tide, visibility and general reef conditions before making the call.
On the right day, Spanish Point Reefs can produce long, clean right-hand lines with speed, shape and power. There are different reef sections in the area, and when things come together it can be one of the standout surf zones on the Clare coast.
This is a reef setup with submerged rocks, moving water and conditions that can change quickly. Local knowledge is advised, and the spot is best approached with proper ocean awareness and respect for the lineup.
